October 2009, Woolrich, PA—Woolrich, known for nearly 180 years, as the authentic American brand that embraces the outdoor lifestyle, is embracing the freedom and joy of skiing and the natural beauty of the great North woods with their new lighting and decor introductions from Woolrich’s brand partner, Shady Lady®.  The Whistler Ski Floor Lamp and coordinating Wall Coat Rack pay homage to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games being held in British Columbia, Canada, and the great skiing heritage the Olympics embody.  Northwoods is a tribute to the natural splendor of the vast northern forests and its inhabitants.  All will be introduced at the October 2009 High Point Market at the newly relocated Shady Lady showroom, IHFC W254.

The 60”-tall Whistler Ski Floor Lamp features a pair of old fashioned wooden skis with black leather foot straps resting on an antique bronze iron base.  The drum shade is covered in Woolrich’s Camp Check fabric in cream, brown and red.

The Wall Coat Rack incorporates a 4’ wooden ski with black leather foot strap turned horizontally and pegged with four antique bronze coat hooks.

The Northwoods table lamp is a generous 31.5” tall with a raised silhouette of a majestic bull moose on one side and a deer stag on the opposite side.  Trimmed with natural looking twigs and a lovely floral pattern at the base the lamp is finished with faux suede shade in buckskin tan.

These new introductions join nearly 60 other Woolrich lighting and décor products produced by Shady Lady Lighting.
